“Amara is the real deal. She texted me a prep list the night I booked, started exactly on time, and checked in on my scalp tension twice during the install. My knotless braids still look fresh after five weeks — no frizz at the roots, no pulling at my edges. Already on the waitlist for my next set.”

“Booked while visiting family in Raleigh for a wedding. I'd never met Amara in person but the video consult put me at ease — she told me honestly that mid-back was better than waist for my hair type. Deposit through the site was easy, and she saved my vacation pics. My cousins asked who did my hair all weekend.”

“I was on the waitlist about ten days and got an opening text on a Tuesday for that Saturday. Worth every day of waiting. The studio is spotless, she's gentle with tender scalps (I have psoriasis), and she remembered I like curved parts from my consult months ago. Would book again in a heartbeat.”
